About visiting the Pueblo Combined Court
The term probate court is a common term loosely referring to the probate division located within a state or county courthouse. In the state of Colorado, the District Court is the level of court responsible for overseeing matters related to probate court.
Pueblo Combined Court is listed as a registered probate court within Pueblo County, Colorado.
In most instances within Colorado, there is at least one District Court courthouse location within each county. Sometimes a county may have multiple courthouses and may also have multiple probate court locations. Such is often the case in larger metropolis counties where population is dense or also in spread-out, rural counties, which may use a courthouse annex or satellite office system to accommodate nearby citizens with easier access in proximity or distance.

About visiting the probate court
Who to speak with when visiting the Pueblo County probate court
Upon visiting the Pueblo Combined Court, look for signs or directions to the probate division within the main courthouse. Once you’ve located the probate division, make your way to any reception desks and ask to speak with a probate clerk or probate judge. The probate clerk at Pueblo Combined Court may or may not require appointments based upon the busyness of the probate court, so it’s a great idea to call ahead.
Plan ahead to be early in case available parking is limited and be prepared for formal security measures upon entering the building, as courthouses are official state and federal property. This generally includes passing through metal detectors and allowing search of any belongings.
Many courthouses do not allow cell phones, so keep that in mind as your phone may need to be turned off upon entering the courthouse, or even left outside.

Frustrating! The site shows Sunday hours for Combined Courts , but the building is locked up tight! I buzzed the front desk and the officer informed me that I have to come back tomorrow because no one is there! Please change the website so people are not mis-informed!

First I would like to say I try to follow the rules and laws to not spend any precious time in courts. Well, this was my first time inside this fairly new building. The facility was just beautiful and clean, it shows whom ever is in charge of cleaning this building cares about doing a stellar job!!! My only complaint is I feel the middle part of this building is just a waste. However that's my opinion,. I'm sure who ever designed this building had the mind set to come up with a pleasant design keeping in mind that going to court isn't usually a happy time. Yes the impact when one is viewing this part of the building does take your mind off your problems if only for a few minutes. The staff came across as professional and helpful. When we arrived at the assigned court room I was surprised to find the doors locked, but I'm sure they have a reason for this. Having never been to small claims court I became aware you need to do your "homework and ask questions"!?!?!?. I was under the impression that small claims court should be easy for people who are not seeking a large money award as well as not being an attorney. How wrong I was!!!! A small example is about serving the parties your bringing the suit against. Who knew that you can't just serve the person who manages the complex for their video footage. No your, by law, required to serve the "agent" who represents a facility. Who knew that you have to go to the Secretary of States office to find out whom the said agent is. What is very confusing is, while the paperwork your given to file a small claim has filling information, no where is it stated that you must serve the agent but not the manager who is the only person you deal with. Please keep in mind no charges were being filed against the manager the subpoena was requesting the twenty four hour surveillance video. The Judge was kind and had no problem answering questions in a manner that a non trained attorney can understand. Please know going to any type of court isn't for the faint of heart. Also know the clerk's can not give any legal advise. So give yourself plenty of time to be prepared and hopefully you will have a good outcome. Best of luck!

Don't bother calling, you'll die from old age while on hold. I also advise taking a cab if you have to appear in person as there is NO parking. Expect to spend at least 2-4 hours for traffic citations. Unless you enjoy subjecting yourself to abuse at the hands of drooling idiots...you're better off just paying the effing ticket.

I visited the County Clerks Office, A young Lady named Charity helped me and she was soooooo nice, caring and helpful. She answered all my questions with actual truthfulness and concern. Very Professional 🌹
